PeeWee A2-A4 rep tryout update #1
Hello Richmond Jets' families trying out for Pee Wee A2 -A4 rep teams this year.
All of the Division Managers for the Association had a meeting today at RIC, with some of the Board of Directors involved in the try out process. I thought it would be appropriate to provide this update for you. With tryouts fast approaching, I imagine there are lots of questions you may have.
1. ) There will be a survey coming out regarding your player's position. The faster you get this filled out, the quicker we will be able to form the groupings for tryouts.
2.) Groupings for scrimmages and skills sessions are still "to be determined" for a few reasons. Please watch your emails and also the website for updates.
3.) The A2 - A4 groups will find out their specific ice times for their skills sessions on Sunday August 26th, for one of Monday’s ice times. (Yes the day before your tryouts start.) We are expecting to divide the A2-A4 pool into 3 groups.
4.) Scrimmages for the A2-A4 group will be Tuesday August the 28th . We are trying to get 3 ice times to accommodate 3 groups for the scrimmages.
5.) Milan Dragicevic or Pam Allen will be around to answer questions, 15 minutes prior to the start of tryouts in the upstairs Boardroom at RIC. Please send one parent or guardian only as the room is not big enough to handle a lot of people.
6.) The final deadline for Rep releases from working groups will be September 16th so that we can move forward with our C divisions in a timely manner.
7.) Player evaluations will not be disclosed to the parents or guardians of individual players. Please do not talk to the evaluators.
8.) Please do not switch the assigned Pinnies as these are used for the evaluations.
