Canadian Tire Jumpstart program provides assistance to families

Criteria for Jumpstart assistance includes the following

Child must be between the ages of 4 and 18
Funding must be for a program involving sport or physical activity
Your family must be in financial need as defined by Government guidelines

KidSport grants are available for children up to 18 years who are in financial need to pay registration fees for the sport of their choice.

a4K eligible applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

The family is receiving social assistance
The family net income is equal to or less than $40,000 per year
The applicant is receiving social assistance
The applicant is in a foster care program

Beginning September 2018, Richmond Jets Minor Hockey Association will offer an integrated minor hockey program from Initiation to Juvenile in the City of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. The program will operate out of the three different facilities in the City of Richmond: Richmond Ice Centre (RIC), Minoru Arenas (Stadium and Silver Rinks), Richmond Oval (North and South rinks).
