PeeWee rep A1 update #1
Hello Richmond Jets' families trying out for the Pee Wee A1 rep team this year.
All of the Division Managers for the Association had a meeting today at RIC, with some of the Board of Directors involved in the try out process. I thought it would be appropriate to provide this update for you. With tryouts fast approaching, I imagine there are lots of questions you may have.
1. ) There will be a survey coming out regarding your player's position. The faster you get this filled out, the quicker we will be able to form the groupings for tryouts.
2.) Groupings for scrimmages and skills sessions are still "to be determined" for a few reasons. Please watch your emails and also the website for updates. Please read the A1 declaration to be certain this is something you are happy with.
4.) After the scrimmage on Saturday evening, Emails will be sent out to the players being released into the A2 pool. Players continuing with the A1 group will have two ice times on Sunday August 26th, in the Forum from 3:00pm - 4:15 pm and 6:00pm - 7:15 pm.
5.) Players released to the A2 pool will start the tryout process with A2 -A4 skills groups on Monday August the 27th in the Coliseum and be assigned to one of 3 groups. The Coliseum ice times are 5:30pm - 6:45 pm , 7:00pm - 8:15 pm or 8:30pm- 9:45 pm .
5.) Milan Dragicevic or Pam Allen will be around to answer questions, 15 minutes prior to the start of tryouts in the upstairs Boardroom at RIC. Please send one parent or guardian only as the room is not big enough to handle a lot of people.
6.) The final deadline for Rep releases from working groups will be September 16th so that we can move forward with our C divisions in a timely manner.
7.) Player evaluations will not be disclosed to the parents or guardians of individual players. Please do not talk to the evaluators.
8.) Please do not switch the assigned Pinnies as these are used for the evaluations.
