Icebreaker A (Rep) Tournament

Registration Information

The Board of Directors of the Richmond Jets Minor Hockey Association invites all minor hockey organizations to participate in our 16^th Annual International Seafair-Sandman Hotel Icebreaker Tournament.

Date:                      Friday, October 5^th, 2018 - Monday, October 8^th, 2018

All teams must be prepared to play on Friday (Oct. 5) at 2:00 pm

Location:              Richmond Ice Center - 14140 Triangle Road, Richmond, B.C.

Divisions:              Atom Tier 1 / Atom Tier 2

                              Peewee Tier 1 / Peewee Tier 2

                              Bantam Tier 1 / Bantam Tier 2

                              Midget Tier 1 / Midget Tier 2

                                            All divisions will consist of 6 teams

Format:                

Atom and PeeWee Divisions

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 5 games (4 round robin games and 1 semi-final/consolation game).  Winners of the semi-final round will also play a 6th game - the Championship Final

  All games are 3-15 minute periods (max. 1.25 hr. time limit for Atom games and max. 1.5 hr for PeeWee games). 

 Bantam and Midget Divisions

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 5 games (4 round robin games and 1 semi-final/consolation game).  Winners of the semi-final round will also play a 6th game - the Championship Final

  All round robin, semi-final and consolation games are 3-15 minute periods (max. 1.5 hr. time limit).  Championship game is 3-20 minute periods

* Please note, The Tournament Committee reserves the right to move A1 teams from Tier 2 Associations, into the Tier 1 Division, if we deem them to be too strong for the Tier 2 Division

Giveaways:          

Besides tournament games, all:

• Players receive a tournament gift
• Head coach and manager receive $ 10.00 food voucher at Stanley’s Grill
• Teams receive pizza after their last round robin game

Tournament Fees:

 Atom Division        $ 1,550.00  (U.S. Teams* - $ 1,300.00 U.S.)

 Peewee Division    $ 1,575.00  (U.S. Teams* - $ 1,325.00 U.S.)

 Bantam Division    $ 1,600.00  (U.S. teams* - $ 1,350.00 U.S.)

 Midget Division     $ 1,650.00  (U.S. teams* - $ 1,375.00 U.S.)

 * U.S. fees include BC Hockey $50.00 surcharge
